WhatsApp has published a new public questionnaire that outlines its website to respond to widespread reactions to its position on the upcoming Privacy Policy Update. The main problem concerns WhatsApp’s ways of sharing data with Facebook, with many users fearing that implementing a privacy policy on February 8 will lead to a sensitive profile with WhatsApp’s parent company.
That's right; this update has nothing to do with users' chats or profile data and instead shows that the chats of business users who are using WhatsApp for customer service are on Facebook servers. The login can be stored by the company realizing it needs to disclose its privacy policy, which is now likely to change in Business Chats in October.
But, a wave of misinformation on social media didn’t help Facebook’s unusual track record of privacy and helped prevent a change in reputation due to its various service contracts.
